As per recently declared results, 426 students from IIT-HOME have qualified JEE Main 2020 and are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2020 to be conducted in October. The percent result is 64% as compared to approximate 22 % on national level.
278 students have qualified in general category list while 148 students have qualified in reserved category list (109 in OBC, 37 in SC and 2 in ST)
Topper from IIT-HOME Kedar Desai has secured AIR 755 with 99.9414888 percentile. He is followed by Mrunmay Angaitkar – AIR 1311 with 99.8918244 percentile and Ramakant Talankar – AIR 1352 with 99.8897396 percentile.
Overall 24 students from IIT-HOME have secured NTA 99 percentile and above, 160 above 95 and 295 above 90 percentile. “Over 2 lacs students all over India have not appeared for JEE Main in September after registering for it. In this situation, 426 students from IIT-HOME qualifying JEE Main 2020 is a commendable result, testifying the victory of IIT-HOME students over the fear factor of COVID-19.“, said the Managing Director of IIT-HOME, Ms. Nisha Kothari.
